Project: Radio Roadtrip?!

So the name hasn’t been decided yet, but it’s definitely happening. My friend Gabrielle and myself are packing up the car and booking it 4,472 km one way all the way to Toronto (at least). The goal? To make a radio documentary about what it takes for two radio grads to break into the industry… the runner up goal- to get a full time job.

What’s a Lapel?

     Today was the big day. The day where I truly became a radio person. I can finally understand and grasp the piece of advice we have all read about on this blog over and over. Radio doesn’t pay. There I said it and if you look through any of the advice from professionals in the industry the majority of them talk about having to have a second job… therefore, I have become a true broadcaster because today I had my first day at my second job.
