Day Thirty Eight - Blah
I found myself in a food stained t-shirt today and I didn’t care. That is what led me to decide it was time to turn the computer off and go see the “outside” world. I’m starting to feel like a big nerd. You know the type. Thick glasses, sweat pants, random food stains, hasn’t showered in days (or longer), and the only human interaction comes digitally in the form of Avatars on W.O.W. Now fortunately, I don’t have all these symptoms… I swear… I shower like 3 times a week (HAHA) but it’s getting close!
I put the computer down for the afternoon. Ran some errands and attempted to buy some new shorts, because apparently Victoria has decided that it is now Summer YAY, but I’m not prepared. Get this. On a hot, sunny, Friday afternoon in July, the mall was PACKED! Who knew?! So naturally there was no selection… and I couldn’t be bothered to try and trek to a different mall so I gave up and continued on my way. Eventually got home for dinner, watched a movie and now here I am. Boring and not nearly as exciting as some of my Fridays… but baby steps haha!
I’m trying to get more stories and advice from broadcasters in the industry, but it is proving to be difficult. So guess what that means? HOMEWORK! If you are a broadcaster of any sort, send in your story (mitch.hawes@gmail.com), any advice you have or just a random comment. If you are not a broadcaster, send this blog to everyone you know. Make up a creepy but awesome chain letter. Throw in that the zombie apocalypse will begin if they do not visit the site and pass the link on! Also add something about a creepy baby ghost… that should do it!
Also, bring on the questions! Radio related or not. Feel free to connect with me on The Industry’s Facebook page, my twitter account (@mitchhawes) or on formspring! I’ll reply to all posts!
WOOT!
