Well, well, well. It looks like another successful round of sure shots. If you haven’t heard the audio countdown from last week, click here then come back and read this update, because I don’t want to brag (okay maybe a bit), but I caught one of the tracks on air this afternoon. Which do you think it was?

 So let me just say, my guess of how long it would be before the song hit the airwaves was a little off. However, I was basing this off the fact that the leading lady has two very hot songs right now… and I guess we can now make it three. Only Girl in the World, What’s My Name and lastly…

David Guetta ft. Rihanna - Who’s that Chick is now on the playlist, at least on The Beat 94.5. I think there are some avid Beat readers out there! But besides this track, I also have an update on the Taio Cruz song, but this is a little weirder.

If you had a great sounding track with one of the UK’s leading women you would be pretty happy right? Well apparently not. Because released today was a re-mixed version of the song Higher, that replaces Kylie Minogue with Travie McCoy (Yes, the guy who sings Billionaire). Confusing. My only guess as to why anyone would do this is because Kylie Minogue is not nearly as famous over here as she is across the pond. Not sure if this is a good enough reason. Let me know what you think. You can sample the track here. If anything, I think the new version will be added to North American airwaves, and fast. I’ll stick to my original guess of 4-5 weeks.
