The Industry

This is going to be quick but I had to share this little story with you. A couple days ago I blogged my “Sure Shots” or in other words, songs that I believe will be big hits on the radio. I had Kevin Rudolf’s latest as well as Ke$ha’s, The Ting Tings and Marina and the Diamonds and as I was driving home from work and I heard the beginning of a song intro “First with the latest music…” and then a very familiar beat started underneath the DJ. My brain clicked in and I smiled wide as the announcer belted out the title of the song I predicted….

“Ke$ha, We R Who We R”

 I think I squealed like a little girl… but don’t tell anyone. So with that said it is official. I have a successful track record for picking hits (okay, it’s not quite a hit, but it’s on it’s way) and of course you could say “well Ke$ha is one of the top artists right now it’s not rocket science”. Although that is true, I can say I officially called it before I heard it on the airwaves and I’m taking ownership of that HA! Apparently this blog has more influence then what I thought ;)
