The Industry

Holy Cheesus… (my polite way of saying Holy Jesus) for whatever reason, I am having some serious blog-block (like writer’s block for the people who don’t get paid to write for the internet). I would like to say that I have had an extraordinary past couple days where all my wishes have come true, but then I would be lying to you and that is just plain rude. 

Busy. Plain and simple. Now that both my jobs are in full swing, I am working every day and I’m constantly yawning. Although, I am now yawning while looking good in suits. It’s one of those things that needs to be done, mostly to replenish the bank account after my stint at post secondary, but man, the real world is tiring. 

That’s been pretty much all I have done in the past little while, which is boring to read about so I’ll move on. I have had tons of family in town for a family gathering which was a bunch of fun, but again add that to full time work and the yawn-to-non-yawn ratio goes wrong. In addition I have also managed to become addicted to one of the worst shows on the planet… Big Brother. Don’t even ask, unless you want to talk about how awesome/trashy the show is and how great it would be if there was a Canadian version so that I could apply and totally own at the game!

Now let’s get down to the real business. Lately I have been finding myself lacking in the creativity field. I think that is also why the blog has lagged a bit, because I need a new challenge. I am the type of person that needs an outlet/adventure on the go. It was school for the past two years, then it was the blog and now I’m searching for something new. My latest creative craving is to truly explore the youtube world. I want to start a weekly show, nothing terribly fancy (at least not until I understand everything). I’m still trying to figure out my angle. I haven’t seen a show completely based on doing viewers challenges. I think that would be fund and very different, here is what I’m thinking:

• Weekly challenges from viewers (easy or challenging in a range of areas)
• I want to also provide commentary on the ridiculous things from around the world. (Pop culture and current events)
• I want to interject random related stuff.
• I want to share my favorites of the week. (Music, Videos, Comments etc.)

That’s what I’m thinking, but I want to know what you want to see on Youtube that hasn’t been done before, or maybe hasn’t been done well. Or do you have any other creative projects that you think I should do?
